Speed bumps are an irritation more drivers, "according to a survey of 1000 customers Swinton car insurance.
According to the survey, conducted by Swinton, the UK major high street retailers of cheap car insurance, 53% of drivers have found low altitude speed bumps as the biggest annoyance with another 63% stating that 'should be removed from the road. Men were more bothered by the speed bumps (73%) than women (45%).

Steve Chelton, development director of the insurer Swinton, the UK's leading retailers of high street car insurance, said: "Unfortunately, the bumps are here to stay, and although they are hated by the public automobile they remain an effective deterrent to speed.
"The speed bumps can cause damage to a vehicle if the speed is not reduced sufficiently. Claim for these repairs car insurance can be costly in the long run because it should not affect a driver's bonus. We advise everyone to take extra precautions when going over bumps to ensure that no permanent damage is caused to the car. "
