Nov. 7 : A GPS system was removed from an auto parked at an Avalon Road residence.
Nov. 8: Garden City detectives arrested four males from Brooklyn, ages 22-27, for grand larceny, identity theft, forgery and possession of a forged official document when they purchased more than $1,900 in cameras and game consoles from Sears using a forged license of another person to access that person’s Sears account to fraudulently pay for the items.
Nov. 8 : A credit card and $190 were removed from a coat that was hanging on a coat rack at the The Waldorf School of Garden City .
Nov. 9 : Officer Florio responded to a two-vehicle accident on New Hyde Park Road at Stewart Avenue and upon an investigation, one of the drivers, a female 34-year-old from Franklin Square, was arrested for aggravated DWI (.18 percent blood alcohol content). She was also charged with driving with a suspended registration and no insurance.
Nov. 9 : An iPod was removed from a vehicle parked at a Beech Street residence.
Nov. 9 : A Coram male was issued a traffic ticket for using another person’s handicap permit to park in a handicap parking space in Parking Field 11. In addition the permit was confiscated and returned to the Nassau County Office for the Physically Challenged. He was also issued tickets for having a suspended license, no insurance and for not wearing a seatbelt.
Nov. 10 : Officer Federlein stopped a male 22-year-old from Freeport at Washington Avenue and Huntington Road for driving with excessively tinted windows, loud muffler and defective taillights. It was determined that the driver had six license suspensions. He was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and three equipment violations.
Nov. 10 : Officer Graber arrested a female 37-year-old from Lido Beach at Lord & Taylor for the theft of miscellaneous perfume and clothing items valued at $657.
