SALISBURY -- Peninsula Regional Medical Center (PRMC) announced that a new study, for the fourth consecutive year, has ranked its clinical quality among the top 5% of all American hospitals across 26 medical procedures and diagnoses.
The study by HealthGrades, the leading independent healthcare ratings organization, analyzed patient outcomes at each of the nation’s 5,000 non-federal hospitals over the years 2008, 2009 and 2010 and named hospitals in the top five percent, including Peninsula Regional, as HealthGrades Distinguished Hospitals for Clinical Excellence™.
PRMC is one of only 263 hospitals to receive this prestigious distinction from HealthGrades this year, and the only Distinguished Hospital for Clinical Excellence Award recipient on the Delmarva Peninsula in 2009, 2010, 2011 and now 2012. It is also in the elite company of just 177 United States hospitals to repeat in those four consecutive years.
Recently, HealthGrades named PRMC among the Best 100 Hospitals in the Nation in 2012 for Cardiac Care, Stroke Care, Pulmonary Care, Gastrointestinal Care, Critical Care, and General Surgery. Only four hospitals across the nation ranked among the 100 Best in more specialties; none located in the Mid-Atlantic region.

You buy the dots and put them wherever.. on your body, your bike, helmet, windshield, front tooth, etc. As you ride/drive all over the route and scenic DelMarVa back roads you may just hit a bug. And that's the point...at the end of the ride everyone has the administrators check their dots. The person with a BUG the closest to the center of their dot wins! This is the first time bitching about getting hit by the buggers will pay off!
