About 50 potential employers who participate and are available to take resumes, job seekers meet and answer questions about the possibilities. Some companies include: Adams Fairacres Farms, Health Quest, Kirchhoff Consigli Construction, USAirways and Stewart International Airport.

Several banks, finance companies and health care are also non-profit providers.

Citizen Bank's Poughkeepsie branch Manager Janet Piccirilli said the bank's Hudson Valley region has manager, assistant manager and banker positions open. Applicants go through a two-month paid training program.

Primerica regional vice president Louis Curci was signing up prospective insurance agents, mortgage brokers, financial planners, etc., who'd be independent sellers of the company's financial products. Last year, Primerica paid a total of $503 million in compensation to its sales force at an average of $5,296 per licensed representative, its website disclosure page states.

Chamber President and CEO Charles North and Beth Christy of Mix 97.7 will serve as co-emcees of the event hosted in conjunction with the Miles Of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation and the American Cancer Society of Dutchess County.  Attendees, who are encouraged to wear pink, can participate in raffles and hear from strong breast cancer advocates hoping to increase breast cancer awareness in the community.  As the evening turns to night, Legion Fireworks will light up the sky with an amazing pyrotechnic display, and the New York State Bridge Authority will illuminate the Mid-Hudson Bridge in pink to mark the occasion.
